| Course Description | This course complements our current affairs courses by examining the news media and considering why some topics make the news and others don't. It explores why journalists decide to report some things and not others. Participants will also study how the different media outlets process and shape information. The course will also consider the implications of the various ways news is presented. No new students after Week 2. |
