Group Leader - Krishnamurti
Angela has recently taken responsibility for the Krishnamurti Group following on from her mother, Joan Deerson. Joan established the group which began before the establishment of U3A, supported by the Adult Education and the CAE (the CAE continues to support the group with accommodation for which we are very grateful).
Angela continues to show the tapes and dvd's as they speak of each man's responsibility for the state of the world, the nature of man and the possibility of transformation.
Angela's interests and working life have been in human wellbeing and she worked in the welfare field for many years. She returned to work at aged 45 after bringing up 3 daughters. Her first position was with the Mission of St James and St John and then with the Prahran Mission. She is interested in yoga and is a qualified Gita teacher. Her other interests are spending time with family and friends, reading and enjoying life.
