Tutoring in: Breath and Movement
Fiona trained in Voice at the Melba Conservatorium of Music and at Preston TAFE in Small and Community Theatre. She has worked in theatre for over 30 years in areas ranging from performance, administration and production. Her main interest in theatre is experimental and new Australian works. This is reflected in her 22 years' association with La Mama Theatre in Carlton.
While exploring her own creativity in 2002 she came in touch with Ilse Middendorf’s breath work, Breathexperience. This encounter, which changed everything, has taken her on a 10 years journey, working and training with Ilse Middendorf at her institute in Berlin and then completing her studies at the Middendorf Institute in Berkeley, California.
She has been and continues to be on an exciting journey living with the new possibilities that the breath offers as she moves through her life and looks forward to sharing this wonderful work with others.
