Tutoring in: Italian Diana started her working life as a secondary school teacher before stepping sideways and working in adult education. That is where she remained for the next 33 years! During that time Diana travelled to Italy on numerous occasions and continued studying Italian in Melbourne and in Italy (Siena and Lucca) She loves all things Italian -well perhaps not the politics- and has lived in Italy for short periods of time.
In retirement Diana returned to her great love of Italian language and culture and is currently in her third year of a post graduate Diploma of Arts (Italian Language) at Melbourne University. As well as her original teaching qualifications Diana followed up her interest in languages by obtaining a post graduate Diploma in MultiCultural Studies, including TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) as an adult student.
Her interests are travel, food and wine of different cultures, music (world and classical), film and literature.
She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for Italian language and life with other U3A students.
